Treasury Analyst

Our Finance team is currently seeking a Treasury Analyst in our Worcester, MA location. This is a full time, exempt role. Position is eligible for Hybrid / Flex work arrangement.

Position Overview

Performs cash management activities ranging from cash positioning, electronic funds transfer creation or execution, bank reconciliation and cash administration to banking administration, controls testing, and treasury policy implementation. Provides support for a variety of treasury functions and initiatives.

In This Role, You Will :

  • Performs daily corporate cash management activities including but not limited to : determining several legal entities' daily cash balances available for investment, executing electronic funds transfers utilizing treasury workstation and online banking applications.
  • Provides support for a wide variety of treasury functions and initiatives which may include cash flow forecasting, counterparty credit risk management, control testing, abandoned and unclaimed property and other compliance functions.
  • Communicate with various internal areas to ensure all cash management activities are performed and in line with defined controls and requirements.
  • Administer the collateral program for all Hanover subsidiaries relative to Letters of Credit cash and other securities acquired and maintained and tracked in adherence to Treasury's policies, procedures and controls relative to the collateral program.
  • Act as liaison to the legal department relative to bank documentation, collateral and treasury related issues.
  • Prepare documentation to open, close and update bank accounts, services authorized signatories and entitlements. Coordinate system and service implementations upgrades and training when applicable.
  • Serve as a system administrator for banking portals and treasury workstation relative to system access banking entitlements, SOX compliance and other maintenance activities as required.
  • Performs ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

  • What You Need To Apply :

  • 0-5 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft Office (ex : Word Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
  • Experience within Treasury or a related function a plus, but not required
  • Physical Demands and Work Environment :

    Ability to work in fast paced and stressful environment. Ability to use a personal computer and other standard office equipment. Ability to sit and / or stand for extended periods (75%-90% as appropriate). Required to work on-site. Ability to work cooperatively.
