Role Description
East Alabama Title is seeking a Real Estate Closing Attorney to join our team full-time in Phenix City, AL. This on-site role focuses on overseeing all aspects of title operations — from reviewing title searches and commitments to resolving curative issues and issuing final title policies.
The ideal candidate will bring strong title expertise and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. You'll work closely with our team, clients, and underwriters to ensure clear titles and smooth closings.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve title searches, commitments, and policies
- Identify and clear title defects or encumbrances
- Manage title production workflow and staff support
- Advise on compliance matters related to title and escrow
- Maintain relationships with underwriters, lenders, and real estate professionals
- Ensure adherence to state and underwriter regulations
