EDUCATION : Required: Bachelor's and/or Master's level degree from an accredited college /university in Music, Art or Recreation Therapist.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION : Required : Certification with NCTRC, CTRS, MT-BC, and ATR in Texas.
EXPERIENCE : Preferred: One year experience working with adult populations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT S: Able to lift pounds with frequent lifting and carrying of object weighing up to lbs. Physically fit to demonstrate and conduct recreation activities for patients. Physical ability to restrain patients through use of hospital approved methods.
