Position Specific Responsibilities The NIAR Automation Research Center (ARC) is a trailblazer in the realm of robotics and industrial automation, dedicated to crafting innovative solutions that redefine efficiency, productivity, and precision.
We are seeking a dynamic Automation Technician II to join our accomplished team and contribute to the creation and optimization of cutting-edge control systems that power our advanced robotic and industrial equipment.
Summary of Responsibilities Uses engineering techniques to design, build, and install automation projects. Essential Functions
- Performs programming and / or coding with applicable software.
- Performs electrical panel controls work to include wiring.
- Uses design CAD, technical drawings, and / or schematics to assist team in design and build of projects and robots.
- Handles moderately complex troubleshooting issues and problems.
- Writes or assists with writing technical reports for projects.
- May provide coaching and / or mentoring to junior and student team members.

Requirements Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Education Minimum Experience Two (2) years of experience;
30 hours of related courses may be substituted for one (1) year of experience Preferred Experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
