Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT certification for an adult and geriatric population.

Responsibilities

Position is in a hospital mammography department

Serves adult and geriatric patient populations

Schedule includes Wednesday 7 : 00am to 7 : 30pm, Thursday 6 : 30am to 7 : 00pm, Friday 6 : 30am to 6 : 30pm, and Saturday 7 : 30am to 12 : 00pm

Initial training during the first week is Monday to Friday from 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm

Day shifts with 4x10 hour schedule

Weekend work required on Saturdays

Orientation is provided bi-weekly

First-time travelers will be considered for this position

Locals are accepted at a lower rate if residing within a 75-mile radius

Scrub color is hot pink

Annual and onboarding modules are required

RTO requests must be included during the application process and are limited to 5-7 days

A minimum lead time of 3 weeks is required between booking and start date for credentialing and compliance

Compliance documents must be submitted by Friday at 4 PM EST, the week prior to the start date

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of mammography technologist experience

ARRT certification required

Experience with adult and geriatric patients

Flu vaccination required; no exemptions or declinations accepted

Completion of required modules during orientation and annually

License required if applicable

One supervisory reference from within the past year required for consideration
