We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Facilities Assistant to join our team in Austin, Texas. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in maintaining the workplace environment and ensuring operational efficiency. This is a part-time opportunity, offering 25-30 hours per week, where your organizational and multitasking skills will be highly valued.
Responsibilities :
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for office supplies, snacks, and beverages to ensure availability.
- Perform light stocking and replenishment tasks as needed.
- Assist the IT team with desk setups and configurations for new employees.
- Collaborate with vendors to oversee light vendor management responsibilities.
- Utilize Google Suite for efficient documentation and communication.
- Support conference room management and ensure facilities are prepared for meetings or events.
- Maintain records and schedules using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Assist with timekeeping processes using Kronos Timekeeping System.
- Ensure the workplace remains organized and conducive to productivity.
- Previous experience in facilities coordination or a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Google Suite for administrative tasks and communication.
- Familiarity with CMMS and Kronos Timekeeping System is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage inventory and perform light stocking tasks.
- Excellent communication skills for vendor and team collaboration.
- Capability to assist with IT-related desk setups.
