Medical Scheduler

Job Opportunity : Appointment Scheduler in Tampa, FL

A healthcare company is seeking an Appointment Scheduler to join their team in Tampa, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling medical and dental appointments, serving as the initial point of contact for claimants and clients, and ensuring a seamless appointment scheduling process.

Key Responsibilities :

• Coordinate with patients and healthcare providers to effectively schedule appointments
• Request, send, receive, and follow up on critical documentation via email and fax
• Document and save all correspondence and documents to secured company files
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Multitask, follow procedures, and actively listen to stakeholders
• Troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise
• Demonstrate analytical ability and adept research skills

Required Qualifications :

• 6 months to 3 years of experience in the medical or dental field
• Contact center experience is a plus
• High school diploma or GED
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook
• Ability to work well individually and in a team environment
• Bilingual skills are an advantage

• the individual's skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
