We offer the following :

• Base Pay : $40,000 + Commission & Bonuses
• 90 day paid training
• Full Time : 5-day work week (Tuesday to Saturday : 9am-5pm)

Responsibilities :

• Provide outstanding customer service and determine flooring needs
• Keep up to date on the wide selection of products and services provided
• Build strong client relationships and ensure follow up is completed on all jobs
• Schedule appointments to visit customer’s homes or workplace to provide product and design advice
• Be point of contact for customer to provide following : flooring samples, complete & review space / area measurements, calculate number of materials needed for project, create estimate / proposals
• Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications, availability, and to order materials for active projects
• Manage time between the showroom and prospecting in the community
• Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean

Desired Skills & Qualifications :

• Minimum of 2-4 years’ proven work experience in Retail Sales, Customer Service, Interior Design, or similar role
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, business management, interior design, or a similar field a plus
• Basic computer / social media, iPad, and math skills a must
• Proper phone etiquette
• A positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision, yet within a team setting
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Strong personal and professional judgment
• Ability to adapt and respond quickly to customers’ needs and wants
• Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
• Ability to achieve sales goals effectively
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Advanced time management skills
• Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates a plus (Willing to train)
• Knowledge of flooring & design industry a plus (Willing to train)
• Knowledge of Pacific Solutions a plus (Willing to train)
