Job Description

As a Security Professional - Telecom Unarmed Patrol in Las Vegas, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned locations within retail and tech-focused environments. Your visible presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service to tenants, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do :

  • Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at retail, mall, and tech or media locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter undesirable activity and maintain a visible presence at assigned locations.
  • Observe and report any irregularities such as suspicious persons, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control procedures, including verifying authorization of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency services when needed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate reports related to security-related activities, incidents, and daily patrols.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to employees, visitors, and guests as needed, while representing Allied Universal in a professional manner.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
