This pivotal leadership role supports Walmart International's growth strategy by leading integrated communications across the company's Growth Organizationa cross-functional team focused on redefining omnichannel growth across the globe through building a global marketplace, data monetization, and expanding our advertising business. As the Senior Director of Communications, Walmart International Growth, you'll build a strategy that has a decisive narrative, strengthens executive visibility, and drives earned media plans that reflect how Walmart is transforming from a traditional retailer into a digital-first ecosystem. This is an opportunity to tell the story of how Walmart is merging commerce, technology, and media to create unmatched growth.

As the lead communications partner for the Walmart International Growth Organization, you'll define and deliver communications that shape Walmart's perception among global stakeholdersgrounded in innovation, relevance, and data.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : stock.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or related field and 6 years' experience in journalism, communications, or relevant area OR 8 years' experience in journalism, communications, or relevant area. 2 years' supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Direct media experience. Government or media relations experience in a Fortune 500 company. Managerial experience running media components of political election or grassroots advocacy campaigns.
