About the Role

We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the Product Configuration Workstream as part of GEICO's modernization of its policy and underwriting platforms. This workstream is central to enabling GEICO's next-generation policy management platform to be configurable, scalable, and testableempowering business teams to define, validate, and deploy configuration changes with confidence and speed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance product configuration, business rules management, and functional validation frameworks, with an ability to balance strategic simplification and hands-on delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team of business and configuration experts responsible for defining and validating product configurations across multiple insurance lines.
• Drive the creation of a product definition framework that allows for easy modification, testing, and deployment of rules that define the policy behavior including but not limited to : policy transactions, policy state transitions, interactions with external systems & orchestration across systems.
• Ensure the configuration platform supports multi-line extensibility and state-specific variation while maintaining consistency and compliance with GEICO and regulatory guidelines.
• Partner with engineering and QA to establish automated validation, regression, and baseline comparison capabilities to ensure every change can be confidently validated before deployment.
• Collaborate with underwriting, policy, and service product teams to identify configuration dependencies and ensure smooth end-to-end transaction processing.
• Define KPIs and metrics for product configuration health, speed of change, and quality assurance; continuously improve processes to accelerate business agility.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business users and platform engineering for configuration governance and design decisions for the assigned transactions / functional area.

$100,450.00 - $157,850.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate / annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate.
