HR Generalist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Generalist to join a small, supportive HR team. This role will assist in day-to-day HR operations including full-cycle onboarding, employee support, performance tracking, benefits coordination, and records management.

Location : Silver Spring, MD

Assignment Type : Contract-to-Hire (6 months with potential to convert to full-time)

Pay : $25 $30 / hour (depending on experience) | $55,000$70,000 salary range upon conversion

Work Schedule : MondayFriday, 8 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM (1-hour lunch, 40 hours / week)

Benefits : This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

About Our Client : Addison Group is partnering with a well-established organization in the property management industry. Our client manages a large residential community and is known for its collaborative team culture and commitment to employee development.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage full onboarding and offboarding processes, including background checks, job postings, and HRIS entry
• Support employees as a first point of contact for general HR inquiries
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and HR documentation
• Track performance reviews and evaluation schedules
• Support benefits enrollment, open enrollment coordination, and related employee communications
• Process personnel action forms, employment changes, and maintain data in HRIS (iSolved experience is a plus)
