We are looking for the next big, disruptive, thinker to join us.

Currently, we are seeking an Account Manager to serve as the lead of all aspects of some of our largest clients. This person will serve as the day to day partner providing both thought leadership for the account as well as management of the projects for accounts. As a boutique agency we all play role with blurred lines and this role is no different. We are looking for a candidate that will influence and contribute across all aspects of the business and partner closely with senior leadership to continue to drive big ideas and growth at The Boathouse.

This position will remote and will require travel up to 20%.

Key Responsibilities Include :

  • Serve as the key agency contact for assigned accounts collaborating with both the client as well as other agencies supporting the client.
  • Develop relationships with existing accounts to continue to grow their and our businesses.
  • Supporting new business activities for potential new accounts.
  • Manage the clients’ budget to ensure successful development of deliverables, within allocated budget.
  • Manage account(s) workflow internally at The Boathouse ensuring on time and exceptional deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities to grow scope of work with client.

Requirements and Qualifications :

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience preferably at a Creative Agency or in a marketing role on the client side.
  • Must be able to balance doing and directing as we are a growing boutique agency.
  • Must have proven time management skills and quickly adapts to a changing business environment.
  • Able to prioritize responsibilities with the appropriate level of urgency, able to listen and can use this information to solve problems, anticipate issues and make correct decisions based on a variety of situations.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Must have superior communication skills; verbal, written and interpersonal skills; able to listen effectively to solve problems, anticipate issues and make effective decisions.
  • Proficiency required in Microsoft Office : Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to travel, as required estimated to be no more than 20%.
