Role Summary
Join our team as a Mainframe Security Systems Administrator, where you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and security of our mainframe systems. We're looking for a dedicated professional with over 5 years of experience in mainframe security, particularly with RACF. If you have experience in managing login IDs, datasets, and RACF resource rules, along with a strong understanding of mainframe digital certificates, we want to hear from you! This role involves monitoring system security policies, resolving incidents, and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance. You will collaborate closely with both business and technical teams and have the opportunity to provide support through insightful reports and engaging presentations. Availability for 24 / 7 support is essential.
What You Will Do
- Administer RACF login IDs, datasets, and resource rules effectively.
- Manage and monitor mainframe digital certificates proficiently.
- Oversee system security policies and promptly address any violations or incidents.
- Conduct comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly audit report reviews.
- Collaborate with business and technical support teams to enhance operations.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and deliver presentations tailored for client support.
- Ensure strict compliance with security standards across all environments.
What You Will Need
At least 5 years of experience with RACF and mainframe security packages.A college degree is preferred.Strong technical skills in TSO, JCL, IBM Utilities, JES2, and ISPF.Familiarity with ZSECURE security products is advantageous.Basic knowledge of MVS is a plus, along with PC Skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Top Secret, and iSeries security.Technical knowledge spanning multiple Mainframe teams is beneficial.Proficiency in Microsoft Office to create client-facing documents.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong customer service skills, particularly at the management level.Experience in establishing and documenting processes and procedures.Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities.Understanding of large-scale 24x7 production environments.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple projects seamlessly.Outstanding communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and mentor junior members.Benefits and Other Information
