Key Role, Responsibilities and Qualifications : As a Media Relations Specialist, you will be the front line in communicating with media to understand their inquiries, work closely with our business and legal teams to gather and confirm facts, and develop recommended media responses.
Your responsibilities will extend beyond media interactions, however. You will also be tasked with managing communications plans and programs, creating backgrounders and executive briefs, and sharing your expertise across our team.
Writing skills are critical, as you'll be drafting statements, announcements, and blogs.To excel in this role, you must be comfortable working on a diverse scope of problems, quickly evaluating a number of inputs, and collaborating across peer groups and managers at all levels.
