Background
Arizona State Parks and Trails (ASPT) maintains a website in-house, , that provides information about each of the state parks, the State Historic Preservation Office, the grant programs, and outdoor recreation. The website is a tool for education and information and has more than million visits per year.
The agency also oversees a reservations website where visitors can make campsite, cabin, and tour reservations or sign up to attend events in the parks. While (ASPT) is responsible for the content on the reservation pages, changes are made through the provider, Tyler Technologies. All pages within the reservation site use the URL
To maintain the main agency website, Tyler Technologies created a custom content management system (CMS) to enable the Communications, Research and Marketing (CRAM) team to update content; create or delete pages; add events and articles; update images and graphics; and add alerts. The wireframe, including color scheme, is not part of the CMS and is controlled by Tyler Technologies.
Currently, the agency is using two tools to measure accessibility of both websites : Tyler Technologies uses Level Access to scan and record issues, and the State of Arizona provided Acquia Optimize for all state agencies to use to identify and correct accessibility, quality control, and policy issues.
Scope of Work
Under the supervision of both the assistant director of IT and the deputy assistant director of Communications, Research and Marketing, perform website updates through the content management system to bring the website into WCAG compliance.

The deputy assistant director will provide login information for Acquia Optimize as well as the CMS.
Through Acquia, there are currently level A issues to fix and level AA issues. Additionally, Acquia identifies pages with broken links or broken images, which the contractor will be required to update with the assistance of the deputy assistant director.
