Greater Talent Group hasan exciting opportunity for an Underwriter HybridAustin TX 3days per week to join a dynamic anddriven team at a Series A Insurtech company.
Relocation assistancewill be provided.
Whatyou’ll do
- Drive sales and new carrier appointments to grow thecompanies footprint
- Support the continuedevolution of wholesale operations.
- Completelicensedrelated activity as part of each surplus linestransaction
- Interact with Carriers and Agentsacross the quotebindissue portion of the policylifecycle
- Partner with our Product Engineeringand Operations teams to build solutions to streamline effortsacross the full policy lifecycle in the surplus linesspace
Whatyou’ll need
- 3 years of fulltime experience in a similar roleproducing at a wholesaler
- Both Texas generaland surplus lines licenses
- Strong sales / producer abilities
- Ability to handlehighvolume deals generating quotes and servicing policiesquickly
- Excellent communication skills : bothinperson and written
- Organized and detailoriented
- Ability to prioritize and managemultiple projects simultaneously
- Analyticaland problem solving skills
- A natural desire tosee things through and a history of being scrappy when itcounts
- A valid driver's license andwillingness to travel occasionally
