Title : Contract Research Scientist II / Senior Scientist, Biologics Research

Position Summary :

Seeking an experienced biologist, virologist, or bioengineer to lead discovery and engineering efforts in next-generation gene therapies for rare diseases. This role involves working within a cross-disciplinary team and conducting wet lab experiments to advance viral vector programs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead viral vector engineering projects and high-throughput molecular / cellular screening to identify novel capsids.
• Perform transfection, transduction, viral titering, and sequencing-based characterization of viral genomes.
• Apply molecular biology techniques including DNA / RNA extraction, cloning, PCR / qPCR / ddPCR, and NGS library preparation.
• Conduct mammalian and primary cell culture, and support in vivo studies.
• Analyze data, document protocols, and present findings to project teams.
• Contribute to lab operations and mentor junior scientists.
