Under the supervision of the Staff Accounting Supervisor, the selected candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to :
Responsibilities :
- Daily monitoring of interagency settlement wire approval tracking sheet. Communicate any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Add, update, and track all wires in the wire tracking sheet to provide proper oversight of outgoing and incoming wires. Including validation to SAP.
- Monitor preliminary reports for interagency settlement and review final reports to determine if an adjustment is necessary.
- Update the parking tracking sheet after month-end closing to verify the amounts entered in SAP are correct.
- Work with Cash Receipt desk to identify and code incoming cash receipts

This position is represented by the Communications Workers of America (CWA) Union.
Minimum Qualifications :
Must have completed a minimum of nine (9) college credits in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field from an accredited college or university.In lieu of credits, minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience can be accepted.Desired Qualifications :
Good oral communication, written and interpersonal skills.Ability to interact effectively with internal staff and external professionals at all levels.General knowledge of Port Authority accounting and financial structure.Demonstrated PC and data entry skillsWorking knowledge of Excel and comparable software database applicationsAbility to work independently and meet deadlines.Selection Process :
