Job Description :
A large Navy contractor is looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer to join their team. This person will be responsible for reviewing and correcting current HVAC systems on large navy ships as well as designing new HVAC systems from scratch.
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively in dynamic environments with cross functional teams to support two current shipbuilding programs with the Navy.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Review and correct drawings for existing HVAC systems on Navy ships.
- Perform new system design from scratch.
- Perform pressure and temperature calculations.
Must Haves :
- Mechanical Engineering Degree
- 5-15 years of professional experience designing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems.
maritime experience preferred, okay with oil riggers or oil / gas / power)
- Design software experience
- CAD - AutoCAD
- Aveva (E3D)
- Tribon (this is a plus)
