Construction Inspector - Infrastructure
PRIME Construction Management & Survey, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of PRIME AE Group, a multi-faceted and rapidly growing architectural and engineering firm with 20 office locations and over 475 employees throughout the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast and Northeast areas, is seeking Infrastructure Construction Inspectors (road, bridge, water, sewer, utility, etc.
for projects in the Central Ohio area.
Position Overview :
The primary function of this role will be to assist in monitoring and inspecting infrastructure construction projects in the field.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Perform earthwork, concrete, structural, drainage, asphalt, water, sewer, utility, and materials inspections on construction projects.
- Support project activities by performing calculations, measurements, documentation, and other technical and engineering-related functions.
- Perform verification or acceptance testing of construction materials in the field or at the laboratory.
- Correspond with impacted stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements :
We are seeking all levels of inspectors from entry level to senior construction inspectors.
Interested applicants should have :
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in construction inspection or construction material testing.
- A valid drivers' license.
- Basic understanding of construction specifications and processes.
- Other certifications such as ODOT, NICET, Asphalt, and American Concrete Institute (ACI) concrete field testing, etc. will be considered.
