Radiology CT Technologist
Position Summary : Responsible for performing all diagnostic radiology and computed tomography procedures in a timely manner.
Performs procedures according to physician’s order in the patient’s chart or per prescription on outpatients. As a member of the care team, the Radiology / CT Technologist is responsible for working collaboratively with other members to assure the safe and accurate delivery of patient care, maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
In addition, the Radiology / CT Technologist must be able and willing to cross-train into other appropriate modalities. Assumes, under the direction of the Laboratory, responsibility for patient specimen testing, quality control, quality improvement, and equipment maintenance.
Work Schedule : Flexible schedules to cover all shifts and weekends, as hospital needs demand.Education / Experience : Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program.
At least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.Licensure / Certification : American Registry of RadiologicTechnologists (ARRT) certifications in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
If not Computed Tomography registered, must receive certification in 18 months of hire. BLS certification required.
