Overview

Our client, a national healthcare company based in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a Senior Technology Counsel to serve as counsel related to technology matters. The role focuses on a broad range of legal, privacy and regulatory issues relating to AI, software, and general technology tools as applied to the healthcare industry.

Base pay range

$110.00 / hr - $120.00 / hr

Senior Technology Counsel

Lawyers on Demand, a Consilio Company, is a global legal services provider with a large team of attorneys and consultants across secondments, legal advisory services, and legal operations & tech solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements including software licensing, SaaS, cloud services, IT infrastructure and service agreements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, Privacy, Product) to resolve issues in commercial agreements and during product implementation
  • Provide counsel and guidance to corporate stakeholders for AI and emerging technology initiatives
  • Support continuous improvements of forms, policies and processes to streamline, simplify and automate contracting processes

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of practicing attorney experience with at least 3 years in an in-house setting
  • Experience with AI as it relates to privacy and logistical concerns in the healthcare industry
  • Cloud services, SaaS or software licensing experience
  • HIPAA and Healthcare industry experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Admitted to Tennessee bar or qualified to work in-house, or eligible to do so in Tennessee
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
