RESPONSIBILITIES OF A JOURNEYMAN AUTOMOTIVE BODY TECHNICIAN

The Body Shop Technician will be responsible for repairing damaged bodies of vehicles, and or, parts in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards.

• Prepare and repair vehicle per estimate according to OEM manufacturer specifications.
• De-trim, disassemble and repair vehicle with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Makes unibody and frame pulls to within OEM specification.
• After paint, responsible for reassembly, headlight adjustment and other
• final alignments.
• Accountable for quality control.
• Work as a team player to ensure on-time delivery of vehicles.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A JOURNEYMAN AUTOMOTIVE BODY TECHNICIAN

• 2+ years of auto body repair experience OR Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram certification
• Valid driver's license
• Working knowledge about common shop equipment
