Job descriptionProven experience with Fanuc robots and Robo Guide. Strong knowledge of industrial automation, vision, time studies, reach studies, simulation, and ordering components off the BOM. Experience with CAD software, specifically Solidworks. Familiarity with machine brands such as Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Keyence, and Cognex. Hands-on experience with the commissioning of systems on the customer floor. Driver's License PLC Troubleshooting Skills Time Study Analysis Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Continuous Improvement Electrical Schematics Electrical Troubleshooting Skills Troubleshooting Skills Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) 5 Why (Root Cause Analysis Method) Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills CAD Software Industrial Robot Programming Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment PLC Programming Experience Programming Machine Vision Systems Electrical / Electronic Systems Machine Safety Inspections Network Connectivity Experience (TCP / IP, SDWAN) Root Cause Analysis Basic Computer Skills 3D Modeling (Solidworks) CAD Software (Solidworks) Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Siemens) Vision System (Keyence, Cognex, Matrox) Gantry Robot HMI Industrial Robot (Fanuc)
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bartlett, IL.
In this role, you will leverage your extensive expertise in industrial automation to enhance our manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and implementation of automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
- Program from scratch, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with PLCs, Fanuc robots, and machine vision systems.
- Conduct time studies to optimize production efficiency.
- Utilize root cause analysis techniques.
- Ensure compliance with industry safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate project handoffs and customer-facing communications.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the year.
