ECS is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to work in our Fairfax, VA office.
ECS is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to lead the day-to-day activities of cybersecurity personnel to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected in support of the Army National Guard (ARNG) mission.
As the Cybersecurity Manager , you will be responsible for delivery of all aspects of Cybersecurity Support, encompassing all facets of cybersecurity engineering, advisory services, and workforce development.
Key responsibilities include :
- Implement and continuously maintain cybersecurity engineering in accordance with all applicable Federal, DoD, Component, and Agency-specific security mandates, covering every stage of DoD accreditation and certification policies for DoD IT systems throughout their lifecycle.
- Act as an advisor and auditor, bolstering the cybersecurity workforce with the knowledge, training, and tools required to safeguard information systems, ensuring their confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation.
- Proactively identify and implement innovative cybersecurity practices and tools to enhance the Government's ability to meet security standards efficiently.
- Develop a Cybersecurity Strategy Plan detailing program compliance with security standards, risk assessments, and the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) approach.
- Monitor and evaluate cybersecurity-related list services such as Information Assurance Support Environment (IASE) and Army Computer Emergency Response Team (ACERT) portal, and alerts / notifications from authoritative organizations such as RCC, Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO), the U.S. Army Network Command (NETCOM), and Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER) to ensure the most current information is being utilized to maintain a secure baseline.
- Actively monitor and evaluate cybersecurity intelligence from various sources, maintaining a secure baseline and ensuring timely responses to emerging threats.
- Develop and maintain an Enterprise Architecture and Technology Roadmap, incorporating evolving cybersecurity requirements and emerging technologies in compliance with the DoD Architectural Framework (DoDAF), and establish an integrated cybersecurity program for all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Provide a flexible and responsive capability to address new and emerging cybersecurity requirements as they arise.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing cybersecurity compliance for a DoD agency including securing IT systems and services using Government and industry cybersecurity standards, policies, guidelines, and best practices.
- Five (5)+ years of experience managing a Security Operations Center (SOC) and leading a security operations staff with skills applicable to a project environment similar in size and scope referenced in this TO.
- Five (5) years of experience successfully managing information security risks including completing the entire Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process.
- Possess the appropriate certifications to achieve DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level III.
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- An active Secret security clearance.
