About being our Cultural Resources Specialist

As a Cultural Resources Specialist , you will utilize your expertise for fieldwork assignments that could include archaeological survey, site recordation, testing, data recovery excavation and construction monitoring; as well as conducting record searches, preparing site record forms, daily reports, and assisting with curation related tasks. This opening is for a temporary, part-time, on-call position.

Responsibility Highlights for our Cultural Resources Specialist

• Perform archaeological field surveys, excavation, construction monitoring, and documentation in accordance with applicable local, states, and federal guidelines, and requirements
• Communicate effectively with construction crews and field staff
• Maintain written monitoring logs and provide status updates to project management
• Ability to identify cultural and paleontological resources while working on construction sites and communicate resource requirements with construction personnel, including Native American monitors and tribal representatives
• May require out of town and / or state travel
• Potential for future cultural resource assignments
• Have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and execute new tasks

Minimum Qualifications to be our Cultural Resources Specialist

Must be at least 25 years of age, have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record within the last 5 years
