Chief Growth Officer (CGO) with Healthcare experience
Position Overview
We are seeking a visionary Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to join the executive leadership team and partner closely with the CEO in driving strategic initiatives that fuel growth, innovation, and long-term sustainability. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking healthcare leader!
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required; masters degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of senior leadership experience in an FQHC or comparable healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated success building partnerships with hospitals, payers, and / or academic institutions.
- Strong expertise in value-based care, healthcare financing, and legislative advocacy.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to lead with integrity, innovation, and a mission-driven focus.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnerships & Growth
Develop and strengthen partnerships with hospitals, health systems, and community-based organizations to expand care access.Collaborate with academic institutions on workforce development, residency programs, and clinical research initiatives.Represent the organization in advocacy with legislators, policymakers, and agencies to secure supportive policy, funding, and regulatory frameworks.Value-Based Care & Innovation
Lead the development of value-based agreements with payers to align with quality and financial objectives.Drive innovation in care models, integrated service delivery, and performance improvement strategies that advance population health.Identify and secure grant opportunities to fuel innovation and expand impact.Organizational Leadership & Strategy
Partner with the CEO and executive team to design and execute short- and long-term strategies.Oversee high-impact, cross-functional projects that support growth, quality, and community outcomes.Provide leadership on real estate and facilities planning, including new construction and renovations.Governance, Communications & Advocacy
Support board engagement through strategic updates, advocacy briefs, and executive communications.Represent the organization at state and national forums, enhancing visibility and influence in the FQHC and broader healthcare space.What We Offer
