Job Summary :

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Breakfast ServerAM to join our team at Schahet Hotels in Schenectady, New York. As a Breakfast Server AM, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests during the breakfast hours which are 6am- 11 : 00 am This individual contributor role offers a part-time schedule and a competitive salary of $10.75 per hour plus gratuities.

Responsibilities :

  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude, promptly seating them and offering menus
  • Take guests' orders and accurately enter them into the POS system
  • Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions about ingredients or dietary restrictions
  • Ensure all food and beverage items are accurately delivered to the guests
  • Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet, ensuring all items are fresh and well-stocked
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the breakfast area and dining room
  • Take payments from guests and process transactions accurately
  • Assist with bussing and resetting tables as needed
  • Strive to provide exceptional customer service and address any guest concerns or complaints
  • Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

    • Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service or server role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
