Roblox’s Partnerships Team drives innovation, growth and revenue for the company by partnering closely with top global brands and IP holders, platform and app store partners, prepaid retailers and education partners.

As the Chief of Staff (CoS) to the Chief Partnership Officer (CPO) at Roblox, you will play a pivotal role in driving critical initiatives and running day-to-day operations within the fast growing Partnerships organization! You will act as the right hand to the CPO, helping to execute on their vision, drive key partnerships, and ensure operational excellence.

This role requires a strategic problem solver with strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a passion for innovative problem solving and driving business.

You Will :

  • Collaborate with the Chief Partnerships Officer to develop and implement critical initiatives, including partnership strategies, expansion plans, and revenue growth opportunities to ensure teams are delivering against established objectives and key results.
  • Maintain and manage objectives and key results to establish Partnership efforts are aligned with broader company goals and strategy.
  • Lead all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Partnerships organization, ensuring processes are efficient, goals are met, and resources are optimized.
  • Prepare regular updates, presentations, and reports to internal and external partners, providing insights into partnership performance and strategic direction including but not limited to Weekly Exec Staff Meetings, Extended Group Leadership meetings, Weekly Standups, Investor Day, Board Meetings, RDC, Executive Offsite and interviews with Press.
  • Supervise our resourcing and budgeting process - working with the Finance and Brand Partnership team leads to align resources and investment to needs / impact priorities.
  • Act as a thought partner with the CPO to create shared context, drive clarity and prioritize.
  • Represent CPO to deliver key business outcomes and next step delivery.

You Have :

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • 8+ years experience in partnership management, business development, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of the consumer technology, gaming, and entertainment industries.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong bias for get things done.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to concisely present analyses and insight.
  • An ability to work autonomously as needed, as well as ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners : Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Safety, Finance.
  • An ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail.
  • Self-motivation, resourcefulness and a bias towards ownership and action and problem solving.
  • Experience with working as a CoS in similar consumer technology and or business role / P&L experience a plus.

You are experienced at developing efficient tools / processes to help establish, track, measure critical metrics so that teams can optimize and evolve plans to deliver against our goals.

You are an effective communicator that is equally effective at presenting results / analysis at key leadership meetings and working through blockers or issues to ensure that we are progressing against key metics and objectives.

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
