Mission Assurance Assessment And Resilience Liaison

The Mission Assurance Assessment and Resilience Liaison will be integral to the customers mission of ensuring the security and resilience of national defense assets. The role involves coordinating and facilitating defense-related Joint Mission Assurance Assessments (JMAA) which are critical in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities within defense critical infrastructure and systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assessment Coordination : Facilitate the planning and execution of JMAA activities, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all defense critical assets and infrastructure.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Act as a liaison between the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), military services, and combatant commands to align JMAA efforts with broader national security objectives.
• Strategic Analysis : Provide strategic analysis of vulnerabilities and mitigation recommendations to enhance mission assurance.
• Risk Management : Work with installation and mission personnel to identify risks that may lead to mission degradation or failure and recommend risk reduction strategies.
• Briefing Development : Prepare briefing materials and reports for senior leadership, highlighting assessment findings and strategic implications.
• Process Improvement : Continuously evaluate and improve JMAA processes and methodologies in line with evolving threats and technologies.
• Security Compliance : Ensure all activities comply with the highest standards of security and confidentiality as outlined by DTRA and DoD policies.

The likely salary range for this position is $136,000 - $184,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
