ICU RN Travel Job Details

Location : Twin Falls, Idaho (Zip : 83301) – Explore breathtaking canyons, waterfalls, and outdoor recreation in this welcoming Idaho healthcare community.

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1680-$1800

Healthcare Setting : ICU / PCU combination unit (16 ICU beds, 14 PCU beds)

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Start Date : November 3, 2025

End Date : February 2, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Nursing Shifts : 12-hour nights (7pm-7am), 3 shifts per week

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Dress Code : Navy Blue scrubs

Charting System : Epic EMR

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Idaho or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience (2 years preferred)

Previous travel nursing experience required

Experience with thermaguard / Zoll cooling and Targeted Temperature Management (TTM)

Proficiency with Epic EMR (Electronic Medical Records)

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (American Heart Association preferred)

Skilled in titrating ICU drips (vasoactive, sedative, etc.)

Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips

ICU RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate critical care to ICU and PCU patients

Manage nurse-to-patient ratios : 1 : 1-2 in ICU, 1 : 3 in PCU

Perform and monitor targeted temperature management (TTM) using thermaguard / Zoll equipment

Titrate and monitor critical care medications and drips

Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals

Float between ICU and PCU patients as needed within the unit

Support a positive team culture and assist fellow staff and travel nurses

Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR

Work every other weekend and holidays as required
