ICU Nursing Job Details Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment Location : Roanoke, Virginia (24014) – Virginia nursing jobs Unit : 8 ICU Crystal Spring Tower (12-bed ICU) Assignment Type : Travel nursing job Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : November 17, 2025 – End : February 16, 2026) Shift : Day shift, 3x12-hour (6 : 45am – 7 : 15pm) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Pay : $1680 - $1730 Patient Population : Adults (18) Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 2 : 1 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or compact state At least 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience (Trauma Level I preferred; Level II from large facility considered) Proficiency with Epic charting system BLS (Basic Life Support) certification ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification NIH Stroke Scale Certification COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Ability to work at least 1 holiday during the assignment (2 holidays during winter) ICU Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill adult patients in a busy ICU setting Perform advanced therapies and treatments : cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, CVP, continuous cardiac outputs), CRRT, mechanical ventilation, pacemaker management, and EVD drains Utilize Epic for accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans Monitor and respond quickly to changes in patient condition Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Participate in orientation and required training modules Apply now to join our healthcare team in Roanoke, Virginia and take the next step in your ICU nursing career!
