Job descriptionWork 12-hour day shifts with every other weekend requirement Patient ratios of 1 : 1 to 1 : 2, with 90% of assignments being 1 : 2 ratio Must pass proctored Dysrhythmia Test onsite on day one (PASS / FAIL) Required experience with ICP monitoring and ventriculostomies Alternative experience with post-TPA patients acceptable if no ICP / ventrics experience Must have trauma experience - this is mandatory 2-3 years specialty experience required Previous travel experience preferred Must work with patients including trauma, neuro-strokes, head injuries, ventriculostomies Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, COVID Vaccine, NIHSS Preferred certification : PALS Use Cerner EMR system and GE telemetry Work with Hamilton ventilators Navy scrubs required Float to telemetry or med-surg units as needed First to float policy applies One day floor-specific orientation Fast-paced environment requiring ability to ask questions and work collaboratively Schedules created approximately 6 weeks in advance Must be prepared for high-intensity workload Referral bonus

This healthcare facility features a 30-bed intensive care unit providing Level 2 trauma care in an acute care setting. The facility maintains 24 / 7 hospitalist coverage, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy services. The organization operates a robust interventional radiology program and is known for being traveler-friendly. The ICU provides comprehensive critical care services with charge nurses who do not take patient assignments, allowing for focused unit management and support.
