Registered Sleep Technologist

Shift : 3rd shift, 6 : 30-7 : 30p, 40 / hours a week

Sign-on bonus available - starting at $2,500 and up

As a Registered Sleep Technologist at North Knoxville Medical Center, you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients.

Requirements :

• Certification as a Polysomnographic Technologist from an educational institution that is recognized by the U.S Department of Education
• TN state license as a Polysomnographic Technologist and valid BLS certification required

About the Job :

• Under the direction of a physician, administers various sleep studies in order to diagnose the type and extent of sleep disorders
• Performs routine patient assessments, scores sleep studies, and documents other test results. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of tasks; works under general supervision
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the sleep medicine field

North Knoxville Medical Center, an 108-bed acute care hospital, was the first outpatient hospital campus in the Powell, Tennessee area for cancer care, imaging and women’s services.
