Electronic Revenue Systems Specialist
Under general supervision, diagnose and performance maintenance, repair and refurbishing of Ticket Vending Machines (TVM) and Platform Validators, Cashless Point of Sale (CPOS) devices, Vaulting Receivers and other ancillary fare recovery equipment supporting revenue equipment in the shop, at the facilities and along the railway. Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with all applicable rules and safety procedures.
Responsibilities and Specific Duties :
Education Requirement :
High school diploma or GED is required. Associate's degree in Electronic Technology is required.
Years & Experience Required :
Minimum four (4) years progressive experience specific to electronic equipment maintenance, cash machines, ATM and electronic farebox. Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) experience is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills Required :
Basic rail safety instruction. Good communications (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Good decision making skills. A valid Texas Driver's License is required and must meet METRO's requirements regarding motor vehicle records. FCC license A+, Network+ or other industry certifications is preferred.
