Java Microservices Engineer - Spring Boot, AWS

Overview

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Java Microservices Engineer who specializes in Spring Boot and AWS! Join a leading Streaming and Entertainment company and become a key player in building innovative, high-performance systems.

This is a remote contract position with a competitive pay rate of $75 - $80 / hr on a W2 basis. We also have an excellent benefits package for our W2 consultants, which includes medical, dental, vision, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, high-volume services and RESTful web services following a microservice architecture.
• Deliver high-quality software on progressive platforms, primarily utilizing AWS, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Develop one-off applications leveraging AWS, Lambda, and NodeJS.
• Work with databases including DynamoDB and MySQL.
• Deploy Java-based applications on AWS EKS Clusters.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow software engineers and quality assurance teams.
• Partner with architecture and engineering teams to create superb technology solutions.
• Engage in Agile / Scrum methodologies.
