My client are part of a groundbreaking group of companies lead by the largest manufacturer of distribution transformers within the US.

This subsidiary aims to improve utilities operating performance by working with utility distribution professionals to implement next generation technology solutions that provide both information and intelligent control at the grid’s edge.

They are an end-to-end product developer of power electronics devices that bring together renewable applications and the grid itself by solving power quality problems from prototype stages all the way to manufacture.

They provide a wide variety of technically challenging power electronics-based solutions which require a hands-on approach and independent thinking to solve.

Background

• EE Design Project background / experience (Sophomore, Junior, Senior)
• Working knowledge of electronics lab practices, construction & debug of digital & analog circuits using common lab tools and instruments (meters, scopes, analyzers)
• Good build, assembly, and hand-tool use skills for quick lab prototyping and wiring lab apparatus
• Good documentation and organizational skills
• Knowledge of schematic capture tools
• Experience with microprocessors or programmable logic devices
• Experience with board- and system-level communications like ethernet / IP, CAN, I2C, etc

Key Requirements

• Minimum BS including electrical / electronics design projects
• 4 to 10 years’ Experience
• Hands on Product Development experience in some capacity

Salary / Benefits

• $110k-140K base (dependent on experience) with potential of flexibility DOE
• Bonus : 7.5% of base paid annually
• 5 Year retirement vesting cycle worth $100k+
