CPA Assistant Controller

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to oversee accounting operations and support the Controller.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, tax, and treasury

Manage financial audits ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulations

Build and mentor a high-performing accounting team while collaborating cross-functionally on strategic initiatives

Required Qualifications

10+ years of accounting experience, with 5+ years as a senior accounting leader at high-growth companies

At least 5 years of experience managing and developing a team of 3 or more

CPA certification with Big 4 or large public accounting firm experience

Proven experience thriving in high-growth, fast-paced environments

Passionate people leader with the ability to inspire and develop a best-in-class accounting team
