American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT CT certification to work night shifts in a high-acuity hospital setting.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in a CT department within a Level I trauma, teaching, short-term acute care hospitalWork with both inpatient and outpatient populations, including adult ICU cases and complex traumaAll Siemens CT scanners are used across the department4x10 hour night shifts from 8 : 00 PM to 6 : 30 AM, rotating day off each weekRequired to work every other weekendNo on-call requiredFloating within service line may be required to meet facility needs, but not to sister facilitiesPatient caseload varies; details to be provided upon assignmentPACS system is utilized for image managementEPIC is the EMR for documentation, experience strongly preferredRole includes performing and assisting with complex CT imaging procedures in a Level I trauma environmentDuties include IV starts, image reconstruction, and contrast administration as requiredEvery other weekend work is mandatoryCandidates may be required to float within the same hospitalScrub color options are black, red, or whiteFacial hair must allow for proper fit testing; travelers may be required to shavePermanent former employees must wait 1 year before returning as a travelerTravelers may remain at the facility for up to 12 months and must take a 6 month break before returning for another assignment\n \n Requirements\n
ARRT (CT) certification required at the time of considerationBLS certification requiredMinimum of 2 years of CT experience is requiredExperience with Siemens CT scanners preferredExperience in Level I trauma or large hospital setting preferredAbility to perform a wide variety of CT procedures, including abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstructionPACS and contrast administration experience requiredIV starts, portable imaging, and biopsy skills preferredEPIC charting experience is preferred and may be requiredMust hold a valid state license at the time of consideration (license required if applicable)Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from facility (no local candidates)First-time travelers are accepted\n Benefits\n
