J Harlan Group is currently conducting a search for an experienced and highly motivated Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Manager, at a prominent NYC Private Equity - Investment Manager.

Our client is seeking a talented Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Manager to lead their team of data analysts and data engineers to drive improved data processes and generate new insights from their data.

The Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Manager will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making across the firm's investment strategies, portfolio management, and risk platform.

The ideal candidate is passionate about data and enjoys finding new ways to use it, has a strong background in data management and analysis, and the ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders to identify needs and develop data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Working in a Hybrid work environment :

• Team Leadership : Lead a team of business intelligence and data analysts, and data engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality output and professional growth.
• Project Management : Prioritize, lead, and manage business, data, and data analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Data and Data Analytics Strategy : Work closely with CTO to develop and implement data and data analytics strategy aligned with overall data analytics roadmap and organizational goals and objectives.
• Data Analysis and Visualization : Develop and maintain complex data models, reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate complex data insights and support business decision-making
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with business leaders to identify needs, develop solutions, and present findings to drive business outcomes.
• Data Quality and Governance : Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
• Tool Development and Management : Oversee the development and maintenance of data analytics tools, platforms, and infrastructure.
• Innovation and Best Practices : Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve data infrastructure and analytical capabilities.

The estimated salary range is $150,000-$185,000. Employees may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
