Square 9 is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Marketing team and report directly to the Marketing Manager. The BDR will be the first point of contact for prospective customers via phone, building relationships, and identifying opportunities. The BDR plays a key role in driving sales growth by nurturing leads and setting appointments for Sales Representatives. BDRs are the driving force behind the sales process, cultivating a thriving pipeline and establishing the groundwork for sustainable growth. This role is essential in transforming potential interest into impactful sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect Outreach & Lead Qualification : Proactively engage potential customers through calls, emails, and social media; qualify inbound and outbound leads via discovery efforts.

Campaign Execution : Partner with marketing to develop and execute targeted outbound campaigns; manage follow-ups and optimize messaging.

Sales Enablement : Schedule qualified meetings and demos for Account Executives; create effective communication strategies for outreach.

CRM & Data Management : Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and HubSpot; manage data and contact lists to support sales efforts.

Market Insight & Collaboration : Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine lead quality, target audience profiles, and messaging based on feedback and trends. Proactively identify, research, and reach out to prospective customers via phone, email, social media, and other channels.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, communications, or related field.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Comfortable making cold calls and initiating conversations with senior-level decision-makers.

Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment.
