School Bus Drivers – Up to $30 / hr – CDL Required

Location : Delaware

Pay : Up to $30 / hour (based on school bus driving experience)

Schedule : Split shift – 3.5 hours in the morning & 3.5 hours in the afternoon

Reports to : Transportation Manager

As the first smiling face students see in the morning and the last one in the afternoon, you’ll play a vital role in their day by ensuring safe, reliable, and positive transportation.

What You’ll Do

Safely transport students and other passengers on assigned routes and trips

Create a friendly, clean, and safe bus environment

Monitor student behavior and maintain discipline consistent with school policies

Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and route instructions

Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents when needed

Provide coverage and flexibility as required by the Transportation Manager

What We’re Looking For

Previous school bus driving experience preferred

Valid Delaware CDL with Passenger & School Bus endorsements (required)

High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Dependable, alert, and safety-minded with a professional appearance

Strong knowledge of Delaware roadways and ability to learn routes quickly

Cooperative, team-oriented, and able to work with a diverse population

Requirements

Favorable Criminal Background and Child Abuse Registry Check

Negative pre-employment drug screen

Favorable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check

Current Tuberculin Test

Mandatory direct deposit for payroll
