About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 2 years in Pediatric ICU

License : Must have a valid license in hand at the time of submission

Certifications : PALS, BLS

Must-Have :

• 2 years minimum PICU experience
• COVID-19 Vaccine Required
• Flu Vaccine Required

Description :

General Pediatric ICU experience is required.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work flexible schedules to meet unit needs.

Candidates must be willing to work on holidays.

Special procedures and care may involve respiratory illnesses, sepsis, postoperative surgical patients, and more.

Charting experience is preferred.

Patient ratios are 2-3 patients during nights and weekends.

The unit supports interdisciplinary care teams, including IV teams and respiratory services.

Floating between units may be required as part of job duties.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in various nursing skills relevant to PICU care.

Tracheostomy care and ventilator management experience are essential.

Infection control standards must be adhered to.

Communication and collaboration with other healthcare providers are necessary for optimal patient outcomes.

Additional responsibilities may include central line care, blood product administration, and monitoring vital signs.

Candidates should exhibit strong assessment skills and the ability to interpret critical lab results.
