CAD Technician I

The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented CADD Drafter to support our project teams by preparing accurate and well-organized technical drawings. The ideal candidate has strong drafting skills, an understanding of industry standards, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and project managers.

Responsibilities:

• Revise CADD design drawings using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
• Incorporate redlines and design markups from engineers and project managers
• Maintain drawing standards, layering conventions, and file organization
• Assist with base mapping, layouts, and quantity takeoffs as needed
• Coordinate with project team members to meet deadlines and project requirement
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality control across all deliverables

Ideal Candidate will have:

• Associate degree or certificate in CADD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D required
• Familiarity with engineering or construction drawings and standards
• Experience with MS Office 365
• PDF editing (Acrobat and Bluebeam)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Compensation:

In accordance with Colorado state law, the following annual compensation range is applicable for the job and Colorado location associated with this requisition: $26.00 – $34.00/hour. The actual compensation may vary from the posted hiring range based upon compensable factors, including experience, education, and skill level.
