Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Lenexa, KS, for a Tax Manager. The role involves overseeing and managing tax planning, compliance, and preparation activities, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. The Tax Manager will provide guidance on tax strategies, assess financial information, and work closely with clients and team members to optimize tax positions. The role also includes keeping the organization updated on tax law changes and their implications, reviewing tax reports, and supporting audits as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Tax Planning and Tax Compliance to develop and implement effective strategies and meet regulatory requirements.
• Experience with Tax compliance and the ability to produce accurate filings and returns for individuals and businesses.
• Strong knowledge of Tax Law and the ability to provide guidance on legal tax issues and maintain compliance.
• Analytical skills to review financial data and assess its tax implications.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, team members, and regulatory authorities.
• CPA certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines.
