RHEL Linux Administrator

We are looking to bring on a seasoned Linux administrator to help revamp our Linux hardening, documentation, and monitoring environment.

Deliverables

• Automate RHEL patching
• Migrate current docker swarm and CEPH environments to RHEL
• Docker swarm and container skills
• Implement docker bench for security and ongoing monitoring via automation
• Implement docker registry and automated image scanning
• Review CEPH implementation for performance and security best practices and hardening
• Create docker health and configuration monitoring (swarm and containers) with Rundeck and PRTG
• Work closely with our infosec team to ensure that all security requirements are met
• Document all stages of work and changes
• Evaluation of monitoring environment also adding some improvements.
• Complete tasks around STIG hardening, Firewall configurations, end point protection, and deployment automation using RunDeck by PagerDuty
• Migrate configurations from Puppet by Perforce to RunDeck by PagerDuty
