Now Hiring : IS Network Administrator!

Compensation to Start : $85k-105k

Shift : Monday – Friday / 8am-5 : 00pm

Summary

The Network Administrator will assist the IS Operations Manager with the provisioning, installation / configuration, operation, and maintenance of server systems hardware and software and related network infrastructure. This position will be accountable for Windows server and desktop systems, as well as network continuity and protection.

Responsibilities of the Network Administrator :

  • Assist in the day-to-day support of a fast-paced operations team, supporting barcode scanning equipment, computers, printers, and networking.
  • Assist in the management, creation and maintenance of core infrastructure hardware and software, including switching and wireless infrastructure.
  • Assist in the development, testing, modification and administration of virtualized server environments and related applications / systems as needed, including VM provisioning, clustering, and Patch Management.
  • Monitor and analyze environment health and provide incident response and resolution support.
  • Assist with the development and documentation of procedures related to DC infrastructure.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of users, including Active Directory, email and core applications.
  • Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
  • Provide tier II support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues through resolution.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
  • Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrading of IT infrastructure.
  • Create an environment of trust and open communication that allows the associates' voices to be heard.
  • Develop, coach, and train while encouraging individual growth towards more responsibilities and greater influence.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • 5-7 years of information systems and supply chain experience within procurement, planning, inventory, distribution, logistics, and reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, natural sciences, information technology, business management, or relevant field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
  • Experience in an IS support role for a warehousing / transportation environment strongly preferred.
  • 1-2 years' experience with Firewall programming.
  • 3-5 years' experience with storage and network environments.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects concurrently, setting priorities and working cross functionally while consistently delivering on commitments and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate on complex issues with a high level of effectiveness.
  • Must be able to work in Google Docs or related software.
  • Must be able to work within a WMS or TMS system.
  • Must have initiative, diplomacy, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, quick problem solver.
  • Must demonstrate professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task successfully, be a quick problem solver, and demonstrate follow-through skills.
