ABOUT THE ROLE
Join our team as a results-driven Sales Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in Clutter's growth by engaging with potential clients, educating them on our services, and guiding them through the decision-making process.
In this dynamic, fully-remote position, you'll be responsible for upselling Clutter's range of products, securing reservations through outbound calls, and ensuring a seamless transition for customers from initial inquiry to pre-onboarding.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, this hourly role offers the opportunity for overtime as you contribute to redefining the storage and moving experience for our customers.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
$22.00 per hour starting pay
Uncapped per booking commission on eligible completed appointments
Schedules - Five 8.5 hour (.5 unpaid lunch) shifts per week . Shift start times vary from 5 : 00am to 9 : 00am PST. The team operates 7 days a week, weekend shifts are typical and overtime may be required depending on business need.
Shift start times and days of the week are scheduled based upon business need. (These times are subject to change based on business demands)
Equipment - A Mac laptop and headset for work use
Flexibility to work remotely from any of the following states : AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NB, ND, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SD, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct outbound sales calls, emails, and SMS to effectively acquire new customers, closing reservations and driving our growth.
Lead the pre-reservation process, addressing inquiries and concerns through phone, email, and SMS, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Establish strong rapport with potential customers, demonstrating empathy and building confidence in our services.
Educate customers on our offerings, policies, and procedures, minimizing future issues and enhancing satisfaction.
Upsell Clutter products, including protection plans, supplies, and unit sizes, contributing to our reservation to rental goals.
Champion the customer experience for Clutter Moving Services, overseeing the journey from initial interest through to service completion.
Provide additional support to the Clutter Customer Experience (CX) departments as needed.
Complete mandatory paid training in the first week of employment.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Bachelor's or Associate's degree (preferred - not required)
Availability to work on weekends required
High speed Internet connection required
1+ years of sales experience or similar professional experience in a customer facing role
Consistent track record of success
Passion for technology and respect for the process
Self-starter, possesses flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment with flexible shifts and ambiguous situations
Strong communicator who enjoy building rapport with customers and closing on sales leads
Experience or understanding of how to work and collaborate with a remote, distributed team
