Responsibilitites :

Conduct visual inspections of incoming materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Perform dimensional and functional testing using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).

Document inspection results and maintain detailed records of quality assessments, deviations, and corrective actions. Identify and report non-conforming products, materials, or processes, and work closely with production and engineering teams to address quality issues.

Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality control procedures and specifications. Conduct first article inspections (FAI) and final inspections of products before shipment to customers.

Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, work instructions, and inspection criteria. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues and improve supplier performance.

Adhere to safety protocols and practices to maintain a safe working environment. Must be able to use hand tools and are able to read schematics.

The essential functions of this role include :

  • wearing steel toe shoes
  • manual lifting up to 50lbs
  • standing for 8 hours at one time
  • working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
